Worms 2: Armageddon App Reviews

I loved playin worms 2 when it originally came out. Finding it on the App Store triggered some nostalgia so I bought it. Its still a fun and challenging game to play and I enjoy it. However, the port over to iOS apparently didnt go smoothly for the developers, apparently. I cant get past level 19 in the campaign as the app completely crashes every time. The game also crashes frequently during regular play as well. $5 isnt a lot of money but when you cant play the game without it crashing that seems like a cash grab and a disservice to the customer. Still fun overall. Hopefully they will fix issues! But I dont think it is too likely. I wont buy any more games from them.

This game was a really solid game, but now team 17 pays no attention to it...

During play movement isnt working. When I touch certain parts of screen worm will not move. Aiming doesnt work because when I touch it, it moves instead.

It is a long time no update, cannot be played iOS 9.2+ well

So Im trying to finish campaign, and Im on level 14. If you dont know, the sentry gun crashes the game. This level has crashed three times now because a CPU has tried to use it, and I cant resume the game because they just try it again. If this werent an issue, Id rate 5 stars. Its a fun game.

Campaign levels cause crashes and resets constantly, makes it unplayable.

App is always crashing. Please fix this, worms 3 is not as good as this one.

It wont let me click on weapons or shoot and also shuts down in the middle of games! Fix this!!!!!

I love this game like the only problem I have is that if some robot brings out a turret it crashes my game not even if I refresh the game it still crashes and have to reset the mission or multiplayer .

Cant use the Sentry Gun because the app will close automatically and the same thing happened at the campaign level 19 ! I tried to erased the app & download it again but nothing changed still crashes while using Centry-Gun & on campaign level 19 !

Great game. But crashes every time that uses sentrygun. Every time. Sad. Makes a great game unplayable.

One of the most poorly optimized games I have ever played unbelievable

Theres many things I prefer about this one compared to the other worms games (even later ones) 1. The backflip actually DOES STUFF 2. Easy to swap from close up and far out cameras 3. Awesome art style Really there are only two things I prefer in 3 1. The sentry crashes the game in worms 2 2. Different "classes" of worms If you like worms I recommend this one

Unplayable on 6s+

A nice quick nostalgic romp, but the AI is absurdly broken. They will hit you with a bazooka or grenade from anywhere, sometimes bouncing a grenade off of several walls in the process and planting it perfectly at your feet. Unbelievably frustrating, and 100% designed to make you mad and force you to spend money to win levels. Shame, Team17. You guys were once awesome.

Good but its frustrating that right in the middle of a round it shuts down and will not go back to that level.

I have to tap to the left of everything to get it to work...
